Prerequisites for Migration
Before starting your migration journey, ensure you have the following requirements in place for a smooth transition.
Qlik Requirements
🔍 Host URL: Provide host URL specific to the visualization/dashboard you want to migrate. Example: https://ihqhsixh51fu6yt.in.qlikcloud.com
🔍 API Key: Generate an API key from "Administration > API Keys" with validity of at least 50 days.
🔍 Access Permissions: Allow access for our site https://qpi.bourntec.com and the IP for the in-app Database.
🔍 Data Source Credentials: If applicable, provide credentials to connect with the Data Source that is connected with the Qlik environment.
SAP Requirements
🔍 SAP Agent Download: Download and install the SAP Agent executable file provided by QPI AI to facilitate the connection with your SAP environment.
🔍 User Credentials: Provide valid SAP Username,Password and Authentication Type with sufficient permissions for establishing the SAP connection
🔍 Universe Files (Manual Process Only): If manual migration is required, upload a ZIP file containing the related Universe PDFs along with their Document ID,Report ID
🔍 Power BI Integration: Install the Power BI Agent, provide the Power BI .exe path for SAP integration, and make sure Developer Mode is enabled in Power BI Desktop.
Power BI Requirements
🔍 Account Access: Power BI username and password with disabled Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
🔍 Cloud Connection: Power BI account should be connected with cloud for web accessibility.
🔍 API Permissions: Ensure the following policies are allowed:
Dataset.ReadWrite.All
Report.ReadWrite.All
Workspace.ReadWrite.All
🔍 Required Credentials: Generate the following from Power BI:
Client ID
Tenant ID
Client Secret
Workspace ID
